Case Study - Loretto School - Four Seasons
Loretto School A year above the campus
Between 2023 and 2024, I was commissioned several times by Loretto School in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh. What began as a series of individual aerial shoots developed into an ambitious long-term project, to capture the school’s 80-acre campus through all four seasons.
I proposed flying the same waypoint routes across the year, allowing me to blend the footage together into one seamless piece showing winter through to autumn. The result was a striking visual journey through time, a living, breathing portrait of the school and its grounds.
Alongside this, I photographed and filmed every key building and feature from multiple perspectives, building a comprehensive aerial library for use across Loretto’s website, social media, and video marketing.
The footage now forms a central part of the school’s visual identity and will continue to do so for many years, a lasting record of a unique place, seen from above.
